Samsung has finally come along for folks in South Korea and the UK.  The Samsung Galaxy S2 is now available, for sale in those respective regions.  The company hopes to sell more than 10-14 million of these handsets without any specific time-frame.  In respect to availability, Samsung hopes to roll out their flagship product to a total of 120 countries and 140 operators by early-June.  However, there is no official release timetable set yet.  For those that are not in the vicinity of South Korea and the UK, you can keep checking SamsungGalaxyS2Review.org for updates.

Do note however, the South Korea version differs from the UK, since it is not actually unlocked.  If you are looking for a GSM and unlocked version of the Samsung Galaxy S2 and in a hurry for owning one, you can purchase the device at Amazon UK or Clove without any kind of warranty in your respective place of residence.  If you know any other reputable sources of ordering, you can list them in the comments below.

Hopes to sell 10 million – good.
roll out to 120 countries / 140 operators – good
official release timetable NOT SET – Bad. Why don’t they give the release dates to all planned regions and make it easier for ppl waiting for it. Everyday turns out to be a disappointment with endless searching for any new news but only rumors are everywhere. From soon to mid may to end may to early june …..

That’s Samsung’s way of marketing. Although I am not comfortable with that, at least its better than Apple’s methods, lol.

here samsung is trying to make some cash by providing the handset first to those countries which are ready to pay a good some of amount n as well as to those operators who provide the handset locked.by this they will get a good u.s$100 more for there handset when compared to a sim free phone in open market.
Example: in india people will never pay 35k to buy it but they will buy if its 28-30k…so they will get it late…in UK its normal for them to buy a superphone at those prices which comes to around 35k INR so they will get it first.
In this way samsung and there dealers will make a good US$100-120 PROFIT.
